such as that practiced by Rove, Koch, and C of C's Donohue, he's learned, is off limits for conventional funding sources
His and his colleague's work in combating election fraud and political racketeering is also off limits for all of the public interest foundations and groups of which he is aware. George Soros, for example when asked by john a. powell, then of the OSU Kirwin Institute on Race and Ethnicity, for help on this replied he was not interested in supporting work on election fraud.
So, if it's going to happen, it's going to be ordinary people acting together who make it happen.
I propose that we at DU adopt Cliff Arnebeck and his associate's work as our own, and actively contribute to it. Some DUers have already done so.
Election Protection Action Education and Defense Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) for which CICJ (FreePress.org) serves as fiscal agent. Contributions are tax deductible.
Election Protection Action, Inc. is a 501(c)(4). Contributors are kept confidential pursuant to applicable law.
The principle purpose of both organizations is to go after election fraud in court so as to put a stop to it once and for all!
Both organizations are led by Jill Simpson, whom Governor Don Siegelman calls an American Hero and Modern Day Joan of Arc for having the courage to stand up to Karl Rove when he was at the pinnacle of his power. Cliff considers Jill one of the top intelligence researchers in the U.S.--for the people of the U.S.
Jim March is Secretary, and Cliff is Treasurer.
You can access both organizations and contribute at ElectionProtetionAction.org

Tell friends and family about this, to maximize its coverage, please.
DUers, lets do this!

(32,324 posts)You are right - election reform must be something that We the People tackle.
The leadership of both Big Parties is indifferent at best, and antagonistic at worst.
I often wonder if the Prop 37 (Labeling of Genetic Modified food) was actually defeated here in California, or someone slipped enough money into the coffers of party leadership (both parties, that would be) to see that it lost.
The results were announced when over 1.2 million ballots had yet to be counted! And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Yes, does sound as if parties' leadership is indifferent/antagonistic, which is why We the People have to tackle this.

(976 posts)I clicked the paypal donate button on the site, works great for those that have a paypal account. Important grass roots campaigns cannot compete fairly when the other side has gerrymandered, which I use a catch all phrase for all the dirty tricks a minority party would use to rig an election in their favor, the process and destroys the validity of our election process and our elected officials. Peace.
