We have two choices in life... we either get older or we don't...

Actually it's not a choice, but one of the two will happen. If we don't... there is little to worry about other than those we leave behind. And if we do get older... we have established a system that will help us age with dignity. We all pay into what is called the "Social Security Insurance Program".
This was established because the elderly were, at the time, the age group most effected by poverty.
We did something about this because we cared not only about ourselves, but about each other. Now we are being asked to sacrifice so the wealthiest among us can have a little more money to draw interest while it sits in their bloated bank accounts.
Is this the nation we claim to be so proud of?... to love so much?... to be willing to die for so long as it doesn't cost us a few cents?

If Obama and his advisors believe this is the America we fought and died for, we are all in a worse place today.
We also fought against Republicans who have been trying to sabotage anything that makes life better for average people just to cater to their "aristocracy".

Obama has absolutely NO reason to propose this other than to appease those that are truly the enemies of the working American people our fathers and grandfathers fought to support as part of the "Greatest Generation" which they are proving beyond a doubt that they were.

If we let this happens.... we suck.
