Why are there no challenges to gerrymandered districts?

Could someone explain how this works to me?
Does every state redraw their districts each decade based on a new census?
Also, I've read where some states like Ohio and penn have about three times as many repub as dem congress members despite more dem votes statewide.
Why hasnt anyone challenged that in court as improperly drawn districts?

i sure hope that someone wins one of these lawsuits and districts have to make geographical sense again.
i think that's the only way the dems ever win back the house (at least in my lifetime....lol).

Liberal and conservatives justices both. They have felt that this is a decision of the legislative branch and the courts should not intervene.
