Dear Mr. President. Here is an idea for raising revenues:

we could tax the shit out of "bagged" cereal. Not the boxes of cereal, just the "bagged" cereal. We could also tax the shit out of cheap beer, diapers and aspirin.
These are the luxuries that poor people could certainly live without, or make the necessary sacrifice's to purchase the above luxury items.

Leave the poor banks alone. Don't tax the exchanges.
