Why hasn't Mark Sanford married his girlfriend?

I don't give a shit personally, of course, but he appears to be showing her off to the public as if to say "it's ok I cheated because THIS woman, not the other one, is the one I really love." Well then if you really love her get married already! It's been YEARS!

I find it humorous and sickening that RedState founder, theocracy enthusiast and CHRISTIANIST CZAR OF AMERICA Erick Erickson (who IS holier than thou, thank you VERY much) has endorsed the philandering hypocrite Sanford!!!!!! Crazy. These people have absolutely no shame. None at all.

12. Forgiven... by whom?
Thu Apr 4, 2013, 05:30 PM

He can claim God forgave him, and that's all well and good...
I'm sure God does.. God is bigger than us.
But even God expected some 'repentence'-
it means 'turn around' a change in attitude.

The big BUT is...
anyone going into the public eye needs the public trust.
Do we trust this individual with the best interest of the government?
OR has this person behaved in such a way of disregard of his wife,
his children, his wider family, his constitutiencey, and his character...
that we need to be careful about easy grace (oh.. forgiveness)
that we can just brush away his lack of discretion.

NOt only did he 'hike the Appalachian trail'- he lied, and lied
and attempted to hide his behavior from those who trusted him.

Fall in love? Have an affair? Come clean...
put it all out on the table, and face the music.

I have nothing against love, but fool me once, shame on me.
Fool me twice.. or whatever W said.

But forgiveness?
Show me you are truly repentence,
don't run for office for a while.
Take a real job with real people that shows you do care.
Don't play on your party's 'good' name (hahahahaha)

Marshall Clement "Mark" Sanford, Jr. and will tell you he had to go through a path of trials and tribulations for many years just like King David in the Bible .
Mark Sanford has suffered ....please pray for him they will ask
but anybody not like them.... well damn them to hell !!

He won the run off that should tell you something about the voters. He was a nasty pug as governor, Sanford had a contentious relationship with the South Carolina legislature: notably, he made public statements that he would reject stimulus funds for his state from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Following a subsequent battle in the South Carolina Supreme Court, he was forced to accept the funds.

While in Congress, Sanford was recognized as its most fiscally conservative member by the Cato Institute.

He was also recognized by Citizens Against Government Waste, as well as the National Tax Payers Union, for his efforts to rein in government spending and reduce the national deficit. He garnered a lifetime rating of 92 from the American Conservative Union opposing abortion for example, He voted for the Clinton impeachment following the Lewinsky scandal, declaring Clinton's behavior to be "reprehensible."OH YEAH HE WENT THERE!

JOB 5:10-11

" Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. "
That is what his voting block who forgives him think of when they think of him

It's okay to cheat on your wife so long as you do it with a prostitute--just so long as you don't cheat with your neighbor's wife!

I imagine it takes a little time to put together a wedding.

Edit: I was wrong - I guess he proposed last summer. Still, it's none of my concern when he gets married. I don't understand the fascination with this.
