Wait, does this religion replace the one Rethugs and Teabaggers use to worship at the feet of the all mighty free market, forbids equal rights for all, denies climate change, encourages sexism and racism, and seeks war as the first option of diplomacy.

I would prefer if we didn't - but sometimes I wonder.

In England, less than 10 per cent of people go to church regularly; abortion is legal and free up to 24 weeks; gay marriage was just introduced by a Conservative government; many politicians, including 2 of the 3 main party leaders, are openly atheist; the most prominent religious leaders frequently criticize the government for its economically right-wing policies; and the religious right is a small, though unpleasant, minority that rebels as much against the main established church leaders as it does against left-wing and liberal politicians.
