Idiocy defined. Romney in San Diego yesterday. Why San Diego? He isn't going to compete in California but his campaign (not the PAC is running out of money). They always use the most meaningless slogans. In this case they doubled down. There isn't going to be any repeal and they don't have anything to replace it with.?
1) A President cannot repeal a law (and you will never get 60 senators to agree to repeal it)
2) You have NOTHING to replace it with.
The sign should say
We Cannot Repeal/We Cannot Replace

(16,646 posts)It'd be with all the things they already hate. Obama would probably be open to getting rid of the mandate if they'd replace it with some sort of public option or guarantee of coverage for all. They could even replace the employer mandate with some sort of "option" to purchase/pay for medicare coverage for their employees.

(24,394 posts)is still blank when it comes to ideas about replacing PPACA.
They have no vision about health care reform or any positive forward-thinking ideas about how to fix anything else IMHO. Nearly all of their "ideas" involve some group of people being forced to do more with less (or nothing at all) and it's not them (or theirs).

Major Hogwash
(17,656 posts). . . a standard-sized GOP shit sandwich, a bowl of Gingrich's own lukewarm pee soup, a small out-of-date 5 oz. bag of potato chips left over from Ron Paul's 2008 Presidential nomination celebration that never happened, and a Santorum milkshake, with a Michelle Bachmann crazy straw.
Yum, yum.
Richard Steele will be first in line. He loves him some lukewarm pee soup!!
