Related: About this forumRomney fights hard and manages two third place finishes way ahead of Ron Paul
Said it from the begining, Romney is not going to win this.
Santorum is going to get a lot of momentum and the next contest is Illinois, a 'must win' for Romney.
Santorum is only 4 points behind Romney in latest poll

So after tonight next Tuesday is IL
then
Missouri and Lousiana.
Gonna be a long stretch for Romney;

(25,183 posts)1. What's really embarassing for Mittens
is that he's only come in third twice, Minnesota and North Dakota, and those were caucus states. Tonight marks the first time he's come in third in an actual primary.
Man, the media is going to have some fun with this tomorrow.

All the big Romney counties are in and so are most of the Gingrich counties.

(18,115 posts)4. The only way Romney won't win is for a contested convention.
I think Santorum can force that, at this point. Regardless, I love seeing the frontrunner get two 3rd place losses in one night!
