Jeb would appeal to the thug base except in the South, but not by enough to be a significant factor. Most conservatives in the south would vote Republican regardless of who is in the VP slot.

The average IQ here is 53 points below average. Guns and drugs and crooked politicians run this place and the majority of the population seems o.k. with it.
Please buy my house so I can move to liberal Kansas, or Texas.

First of all the US still has a severe case of Bush fatigue (& I wager Jeb knows it). Secondly, do you really tihnk Jeb will willingly play second fiddle to any one of these nutcases from the GOP clowncar??

Nah. Ol' Jeb's keepin' his powder dry til 2016. If he's gonna make a run at it that's when he'll do it.

$10,000.00? Want to bet $10,000.00?

will follow the advice of Reverend AL "Stay out the Bushes!"
I expect I'll be around for a couple more decades and if anyone with the surname Bush gets elected to office I'll know that we have fallen to the state of idiocracy.

The republican nominee would want to finish his first term without dying. (Just sayin' that the BFEE is dormant and not gone.)

Then again, his brother spent eight years drunk all to hell while playing president under Darth Cheney.
