At the click of a mouse, all you need to know about studying in Japan



As anyone who has moved to Japan knows, the start-up costs of renting accommodation can be draining. Next to that, finding a school to study the Japanese language can be daunting.

Here's where Davide Rossi, an Italian who experienced these highs and lows, is making a difference.

Rossi, 30, operates a website that not only offers information about Japanese-language schools and housing, but also provides a consulting service to help newcomers find the best fit.

Rossi and a Swedish friend, John Koski, set up the "Go! Go! Nihon" website in 2009 after negotiating these hurdles following their arrival in Japan.

Rossi was living in London in 2008 when he decided to come to Japan to study for six months. Having grown up in Rome, Rossi found the glittering neon signs of Tokyo a far cry from home. He was also impressed by the fact that Japan generally is safe for foreign tourists.
