Skid marks starting in the shoulder, significant amounts of blood on and close to the road, law enforcement surrounding an innocent citizen, investigators painting new marks on an already investigated and cleared accident scene
even as he reels from grief at the loss of his cousin, Nemec provides a valuable piece of independent journalism on an investigation of keen public interest as we wait for the states top cop to take a leave of absence to make clear that he will exercise no influence in the investigation of the death he caused Saturday night in Hyde County.
There are links to a picture of the battered up Ford Taurus with the passenger side windshield busted up and more.

OP
Any damage to the windshield would indicate the driver should have seen what he hit.

Didn't investigate? Hit someone walking on the side of the road?

(6,546 posts)7. 200 ft skid marks mean he was going about 70 mph
This is so sad...

reason to flee is knowing you are drunk.

RIP poor soul. I hope your cousin helps find your killer.

This will be swept under the rug so fast. It's sad to see what the "Party of Law & Order" is in reality.

And anyone who thinks the PTB (cops, investigators, FBI, etc.) aren't capable of altering the evidence and aren't willing to do so hasn't been paying attention.

They are very descriptive, unemotional and precise. This is the work of someone who is not going to let any of this go. I wish him justice and peace.
