March Full Moon 2020: Catch the 'Worm Moon' and the first supermoon of the year on Monday.

The full moon of March, called the Worm Moon, will occur in the eastern U.S. during the afternoon hours of March 9, about 13 hours before reaching perigee, the nearest point from Earth in its orbit.

within hours Mercury goes stationary direct as well as Jupiter and Pluto doing do-si-does all month.

I plan to remain seated, seatbelt fastened.

Happily, have constant river view, sun rises @ bedroom window, and sets at living room window! Moon same.

No people within a mile of me, but fish, birds, deer, and rabbits, so no fear!

Valley where there's no light pollution so just stepping outside is quite the adventure if I look up. We have deer and all kinds of animals pass through but mostly I watch out for skunks.

on my own little peninsula, light's miles away, and river's at my door so no need to venture far; only 'hindrance' to catching moonSET's cold, and occasional wind.

Moon's setting @ 7:03 AM tomorrow, but may catch it in setting process over the river during darkness, 1-3 a.m, 46 degrees, ssw wind @ 7 mph.

I will add my usual recommendation: keep your hands inside the ride at all times!

There's story that goes with that but it's long. I tell it later.
