(Jewish Group) Biden leads Trump 67-30 among Jewish voters, survey finds

A survey of Jewish voters shows 67 percent plan to vote for Joe Biden in November and 30 percent plan to vote for Donald Trump.

The numbers in the survey released Monday by the Jewish Electorate Institute broke the same way when voters were asked about President Trump’s performance: 67 percent said they disapprove and 30 percent said they approve.

The survey suggested gains for Trump among Jewish voters since 2016, when Hillary Clinton won 71 percent of the vote to Trump’s 24 percent. Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate in 2012, won 30 percent of the Jewish vote, the highest for a Republican since the 1980s.

However, support among Trump voters appears to be relatively soft. Just 64 percent of the respondents who said they approve of Trump said they strongly approved, while 92 percent of those who disapproved said they strongly disapproved.

And shhhh...don't tell nobody but...Voters ranked healthcare, the economy and the response to the coronavirus as their most important issues. Lowest ranked out of 19 issues asked about in the poll were Israel, Iran and “Support of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” Some might get confused and think Jews are actually Americans!

Or just a good "lie detector" response from seeing Rethugs promise to protect Israel and then setting fires in the Middle East that put them in worse situations than before.

However, as a people who have survived so many things - the Holocaust, the West Bank, antisemitism in America to this day and on and on..... there is a group experience that probably helps Jewish people see the crazy of Dump and his followers more clearly.

I don't know. My relatives are voting for the creep, so I have nothing to say for my people. They are crazy and stupid.

My sister-in-law has gone down this deep right-wing rabbit hole and is convinced that Joe Biden is going to let Muslims (and BLM) take over America and usher in a second Holocaust. The targeted propaganda is frightening - while the vast majority of right-wing nonsense is blatantly antisemitic, what she is reading has led her to believe that a candidate who is supported by neo-Nazis is the better choice for the Jewish community.

In the Democratic party (Sarsour, Omar, etc) tent is not a great idea.

So your sister is the canary.

When the Republicans put up someone who is not an overblown blow-hard like Trump (his most offensively goyishe tendency, to me), the in roads will be actually significant.

However, I think it is more important to realize that most Jews are voting for Biden, and there is always the possibility the number will rise as the election draws near. It shows that Jews have been voting for democrats for years in large numbers, but are often overlooked or lied about in regards to our support of the democrats and that we are actually concerned about the issues others find concerning. I have even seen Orthodox Jews breaking ranks and that is highly unusual, but a good thing. When I posted an article about outreach to the Jewish community, a few responses were "Why?" Well, seems obvious to me, Jews are Americans and there are places where we can bring some over to our side, so why not reach out ?! Yet, a few, seem wholly intent on downplaying our importance, only concerned about our money all the while whining that Jews are not pulling their weight or are all about Israel and when that is "off the table", then they vote for democrats, which is obviously not true; but haters gotta hate!

In 2016, Trump promised to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem. He kept his promise.

In 2020, Trump is out of promises. Biden essentially is promising to preserve the status quo of Israel and that's enough for Jewish voters. They don't need Trump anymore.

and a lot of thinking people as well against Dump?

Or letting thousands be exposed to Covid and encouraging people to keep spreading it makes him look like a leader who is picking and choosing who will live (rich people) and die (anyone else not worshiping the ground he walks on)?

Maybe the real percentage of the country is at about the same, but the rest of us are so tired of surveys and just want this damn election over and someone with common sense sitting in the White House.
