(Jewish Group) Iranian health ministry holds antisemitic coronavirus cartoon contest
The senior vice president for international affairs for the Anti-Defamation League, Sharon S. Nazarian, blasted Irans health ministry for squandering time on stoking antisemitism instead of combating the massive outbreak of the deadly coronavirus disease.
Sharon S. Nazarian tweeted on Monday: At a time when it should be focused on saving lives, Irans health ministry sponsored a cartoon contest on COVID19. As you could imagine, some of the submissions we found were horrifically and sadly unsurprisingly antisemitic.
Her tweet contained images of the antisemitic cartoons tinged with anti-Americanism.
