Someone tweeted yesterday that they wondered what a Rutgers coach had ScreamingMeemie Apr 2013 #5
I don't know. As they're reporting on The Herd, he did turn the Rutgers program around. ScreamingMeemie Apr 2013 #6

I fixed his ass.

We had this gully on our practice field that had a very steep slope on it and he would run this drill where one guy would be at the top and one would be at the bottom. The guy on the bottom would have to try and get to the top. So one day he put me up against the biggest guy on the team, a guy that outweighs me by around 100 lbs and he's on top. So I started up and he started down. He wasn't a real athletic guy so he's coming down basically standing straight up and shuffling his feet. When his feet got close to me I dropped down and put my helmet on top of his feet while wrapping my arms around both ankles. Keep in mind this is a very steep hill about 15 feet from top to bottom. I grabbed those ankles and just heaved and he started to go over. He flew about 10 feet to the bottom and everyone broke out laughing.

That pissed off the coach so now he sets me at the bottom and the same guy plus our starting guard at the top, the two biggest guys on the team. So we start off and I get knocked down to the bottom but I got up and after a short struggle I win again!

Now he's really pissed, so he set up the same scenario same guys and we start. I'm basically doing an army style crawl going up and making steady progress and this coach steps in. He plants his down hill foot in front of my head and starts pouring handfuls of sand in my face and in the ear holes of my helmet. So I can't see what's going on and I turn my head face down to keep the sand out. Then I look up and see his ankle right in front of my face. I grabbed his ankle with both hands and pull my knees up under me. Then I rear up and throw my shoulder into the side/back of his knee. He starts to fall and grabs me to try and hold himself up but I'm not having it. I knock his hands off and stiff arm him in the chest and he falls all the way over on his back. So now he on his back, his head slightly downhill, his leg is bent out to the side. I throw myself on it again. Then I reached over and grabbed a small handful of sand and threw it over him just to add insult to injury. I get up and run to the top of the hill then take off my helmet to shake the sand out. I don't ever bother to look back and see the damage.

After that we ran about two or three more drills and practice ends. He's hurt but trying not to show it. His brown noser's are offering to help but he doesn't want anyone to see. As were walking in a couple of my buddies are are saying "Look man you got him, he's limping."

About a year later he needed a knee operation and was telling everyone it was an old Basketball injury.

This is all anyone outside of their fans is going to remember for quite a while, and is going to damage their recruiting efforts in all their programs. He needs to get out in front of this while he can, if he wants to save his career.
