2nd pitcher in MLB history to pitch a complete game AND hit a HR on Opening Day since 1921.

Bob Lemon did it in April of '53.

I wonder if he pitched a COMPLETE GAME 4 HIT SHUTOUT like Clayton Kershaw did.

Couldn't ask for a better Opening Day. No, really... It was even against the perfect team.

walked four and struck out three. The only hit by the White Sox came in the first inning by Minnie Minoso. Tribe won 6-0.

But Kershaw didn't walk anyone, struck out seven, threw a total of 94 pitches, and his HR was the game winner.

Awesome performance. I'd have to agree -- no Dodger fan could ask for a better home opener.
