59. My generation way back had the Chicago 7 and the riots at the convention. Looking back that wasn't

that bad. Probably really needs to happen every couple of generations just to keep things going on the right track. I think it is helpful when the kids get out and slap entrenched folks my age beside the head and straighten us out. I have more faith that the 18-35 year olds will make the correct decision than I do people my age will.

What are you protesting? That we outvoted you? Silly. Our votes are worth the same and we pulled together to get a diverse coalition. Prtest the result and you are saying our votes count less than yours. And that is just not cool. It would kill the far left for a generation.

that convention. Really it might boost the lefties like me. Just never know.. I hope it comes out like a continuation of Occupy Wall Street.

It is up to the kids. A lot of the old people like me really trust the 18-35 year olds to make some very good decisions, it is their life and what their life will be like.

I saw something about the space program today. The tech and engineers at Houston who put Armstrong on the moon were an average age of 27 years old. They were around 18 when they heard Kennedy give out the call to put a man on the moon. That was when I was a kid. Now they would say that we can't do anything like having fast trains or putting a person on Mars.

I think our country lost the ability to dream and just do it. That dream has been replaced by the dream of not having to pay any taxes on 100 million in income.
