"State-sanctioned discrimination never looks good, and never works in hindsight."

I am so proud of AG Lynch, fellow North Carolinian, for her strength, leadership and clarity of vision on the HB2 issue.

Rev. Barber has been on this from the beginning, no surprise. but I don't think people understand what a powerful and consistent voice he has always been, way back to Amendment One.

And Shawn Tremble, mother and business owner, who took a stand for justice.

However, some seem to overlook its simplicity and truth.

Sadly, I fear her words will come to be used again and again, especially if we end up with Trump. Rev. Barber also speaks the truth in something I and others have said many times here at DU....they never stop with just one group!

And Ms. Tremble...your voice DOES matter and I personally thank you for using it for justice!!!

I listen to him at every opportunity. Any time there's injustice to anyone in NC, he's likely there.
