Bernie: I’ll Do Better With Black Voters Who Don’t Live In The Deep South www.buzzfeed.com/evanmcsan/bernie-sanders-ill-do-better-with-black-voters-who-dont-live?utm_term=.vlw4jReQP …

On This Week, Sanders telegraphed more Super Tuesday defeats among black voters in the day’s southern primaries, but suggested black voters outside the region would be more likely to support him.

“I think you’re going to see us doing — and I think the polls indicated it, much better within the African-American community outside of the Deep South,” Sanders said. “You’re going to see us much better in New York state where I think we have a shot to win, in California and in Michigan.

...I'm not sure I want to speculate on why Bernie thinks southern blacks didn't respond well to his candidacy. I will leave this here though...

Jamil Smith @jamilsmith

Sanders told a mostly white crowd (in Minn.) that they're "too smart" not to vote for him on the same night he lost a heavily black state by 48 points.

From sea to shining sea - Iowa, NH, Nevada and now SC.

But yeah, it's Southern blacks that are the problem.

GDP has been spouting the last few weeks. I'm pretty sure you know which one I'm talking about.

First we had to endure the endless "black people LUUUUURRRV Bernie" from people that aren't black. Now this crap. DAMN Super Tuesday can't get here fast enough. And then why do I get the feeling this shit still won't be over then????!!

I'm considering putting up an OP simply asking for various sideeye so folks can grab what they don't have and use them as needed...'cause folks really don't want me opening my mouth and saying anything (shit, I have 3 hides already...)

Bernie and Hillary actually have a lot in common.

Given their stark differences in policy, their similarities are striking and really fascinating to me...and this kind of motor-mouth stuff about insider politics and demographics is one of those things...

Of course, in "quiet rooms" (to use Mitt Romney's term) things like this are always discussed...and there's a reason that these type of conversations (by and large) stay in quiet rooms...
