Gun Control & RKBA

#!from the You Tube description
Actually, Sen Corker's assistant said no such thing, and her own video clip shows she either did not understand the reply or is lying.
BTW, the MT amendment only covered some gun shows some online sales, since most online sales, and all of the ones I have been involved in, are covered by the 1968 Gun Control Act and the Brady law.

gejohnston
(17,502 posts)because it wasn't that great from your stand point. If they voted no on that amendment, but voted yes on the main bill, which never made it to the floor, they would have voted for a stricter law.
None of which has anything to do with an OP, which is about a NY resident calling Senators who don't care, and being dishonest which, quite frankly, pretty much sums up the gun control movement in general, dishonest.

Killing lots of people with essentially zero effort in a brief period of time.
What purpose of any merit is served to split hairs about that?

Oh, I don't know, Shares. How about people who have been banned from a forum sneaking back in under another name?
Small wonder you have no problem with Bloomberg's lies. But answer me this: If there's really no difference, why does he find it necessary to prevaricate?
Loudly
(2,436 posts)Conclusion: You lack any substantive defense of it.
It's an irrational fetish, I get that. The heart wants what it wants.
But how much longer are we going to indulge you in it?
Straw Man
(6,613 posts)The issue here is the dishonesty of some gun-control advocates.
My concern for my rights is not a fetish, and it is not dependent on your "indulgence."

Very self-serving perception of the world you've got there.
Needs an upgrade.

Of course not. Don't be foolish. Access to the means of convenient self-defense is my right. There's a difference, you see. Murder is against the law, as is depriving others of their legal rights.
Loudly

Yes. You.
Your logic makes everyone with a penis a rapist and everyone with hands a strangler. What pure, unadulterated hogwash.
No difference between murder and self-defense? I think you'd better have your moral compass calibrated.

(33,982 posts)Every last one of them I acquired WITH a background check. Every gun show in my state I have ever been to, required membership, and therefore a background check to attend.
Every single one.
Want to tighten up the laws without fucking with people like me, fine, go to town, I've got your back.
Add a bunch of amendments and regulations that make for a pain in my ass, and we have a problem.

(11,064 posts)It is strange that those in the echo chamber believe that falsely representing what others have said is an effective tactic.
It's no more effective than their endless name-calling and their false claim that every piece of information contrary to theirs is an "NRA talking point."
If there is an uptick in such videos, it's because they like publicity.
gejohnston
(17,502 posts)and Facebook that comments are disabled on anti gun videos and pages, while the pro gun ones are not?
AtheistCrusader
(33,982 posts)Facebook does things by algorithm. No other way to manage that data. So it's pretty much based on the number of people that hit 'alert' on any given thing.
Edit: Whoops, you mean the vast array of videos in which the poster actually turns off comments directly themselves, sorry. I didn't read that very carefully it seems.

So, I'm guessing you are saying that someone hacked their web site.
BTW, why did Schumer vote to water down his own bill by voting for the amendment that gun control advocates are pissed off about?
