It is incredible how many are joining the debate and seriously calling out the drug war for the failure it is.

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States released a report that considers possible alternatives to current drug policies internationally and represents the most high-level discussion about drug law reform ever undertaken.

The report envisions possibilities for ending the war on drugs as well as the introduction of policies rooted in public health and human rights.

LOL.

That's some logic you've got going there.

And you have almost enough compassion to fill a thimble.

But, yes, it's more cost effective to treat the addiction rather than treat something as a crime.

Maybe we should arrest all overweight people who eat sugar, too, and sterilize them, and when they die, we can scorn them for their addiction, too. Yeah, that's as stupid and nasty as your suggestion.
