When the tug comes....

A nice couple was driving by the tents of Quick's first fundraiser. They saw that there were dogs there, so they stopped to look. See, within a year, they'd lost their two dogs: one, at the age of 16, the other, at the age of 17. They weren't sure they were ready... But hey, there were dogs there, they couldn't NOT look.

Hanging out at the fundraiser, was adoptable Posh Pet, Ping. This middle-aged girl ended up at Brooklyn ACC several months earlier, after her family had lost their home to SuperStorm Sandy. Ping was lucky enough to score an amazing foster home, and we were lucky enough to be able to pull her.

Her foster home was supposed to be very temporary. While it turned out to last much longer than originally planned, her time was running out due to her foster family's soon changing schedule.

So, there she was, yesterday, and there were two people who had just stopped by to see why there were dogs there...
And now, that family is Ping's fur-ever family. Some things are just meant to be... This absolutely wonderful girl, by whom most people just kept walking by because of her gray muzzle, has found an absolutely wonderful family.
Some things are just meant to be...
