Sorry for all the trouble. But do tell me what you think; does Brigid resemble a Toy Fox Terrier to you as much as she does to me? A person could've sold her to me as that, and I'd have ponied up fast. But it may be wishful thinking on my part, so....
BTW, Patsy Carter's not my real name but rather a pen name I used back in the day. I still sometimes use the handle 'Meanolgrouch' though. Back when Sarah Palin's fans were keeping her kid on DWTS so long by creating sock puppet accounts for extra voting, I decided to fight fire with fire.

(24,721 posts)What a cutie! She's yours now?
(I like your backstory on the pen name -- the DWTS part. )
On edit, another possibility is that Brigid could also be a Jack Russell Terrier:

(6,151 posts)Brigid's probably not purebred anything, but that's okay. I love the JRTs, rat terriers, and especially the Fox Terriers. They're all terrific little dogs, smart and totally fearless. She's already half the weight of her adoptive sister Molly, and holds her own in their friendly tussles. I've warned Molly to be careful when Brigid reaches her full weight. I have no idea which will turn out the eventual alpha. Molly came from a good family and is absolutely half mini-beagle, half Pom. Right now she's in the catbird seat. Better enjoy it while she can.

(24,721 posts)It's going to be nice having two dogs. They'll be company for each other when you're away.
I have two nine-month-old Boston Terriers & they're really entertaining. They like to chase each other in the backyard, play tug-o-war & keep-away. Their favorite game right now is for me to hold their 5-foot stuffed, squeaky snake over my head, swinging it around for them to jump up & grab. They bring it to me whenever they're ready to play, which is often.
Gladys is the smaller of the two & she was the dominant one from the beginning. Good thing Abner goes with the flow but he's learning to stand his ground. They're brother & sister & we had them spayed & neutered when they were six months old, thank goodness.

(6,151 posts)it turned out their website wasn't programmed to verify email addy's, so you didn't really even have to create any sock puppets - just name them. I never would've done it except for the SP supporter's outright villany, and the fact that Bristol didn't belong on that stage. I've never done that before or since, but I'd have died before I saw that yuck cheated to victory.

(12,252 posts)I'm on a Mac, though, and sometimes that happens. Love the photo of the terrier puppy above. Is that a Jack Russell?
pacalo
(24,721 posts)Nope; flickr pics are protected against copying -- can't even copy the url address cleanly.

(23 posts)Just have to say, an adorable dog. I have a Bassett Hound named Auggie.
Also, my mother had a boat and she named it "Irish Ayes". It's so cool seeing that name being used in different ways, because that's exactly how she spelled it !

(6,151 posts)At least I was - ask anyone who ever knew me. That's why I picked my baby picture avatar, because it already shows that "look out world, here I come!" attitude.
