Thinking of using 3' wide raised rows in the garden

Putting together the garden is a multi year project and so far I've built a 30' X 4' raised bed, a 7' X 4' raised bed and double dug 2 40' X 1.5' rows with 2' in between the rows. In a previous post, I had talked about going with 1.5' wide rows.
Doing some calculations, I figure I could better maximize space by going with 3' wide rows each 40' long instead of 1.5' wide rows each 40' long. This would add 240 sq. ft. of planting area within the total garden area without increasing the size of the total garden (planted spaces plus pathways) area.
For those familiar with square foot gardening, one can quickly see how much more produce I could get out of a garden utilizing an extra 240 square feet.
Edit: For an easy way to find out what the dimensions of the raised rows and beds and total area of plantable garden is, I'll list it here:
1 4' X 30' raised bed (in center of garden running north and south)
1 4' X 7' raised bed (South of the above running east and west. Contains chives and 2 rhubarb plants)
1 3' X 7' raised bed (South of the above running east and west)
1 3' X 18' raised row (for Gladiolus's and located In North West corner of garden running east and west)
1 1.5' X 30' raised row ( running parallel to the the 4' X 30' raised bed on west side of it)
8 3' X 40' raised rows (running north and south. 4 rows to the east of the 4' X 30' and 4' X 7' and 3' X 7' raised beds and 4 to the west of them)
