The garden is just about crispy critters

The sun shades did help. The garden is usually gone by 4th of July. It's gonna be 103 Monday and 104 Tuesday. I should be able to get 2 or 3 more weeks out of it and maybe 2 dozen more tomatoes. The peppers are hanging in there so far.

Between the extended spring monsoon and the damn heat, other than improving my mental state, the garden wasn't very productive. Peppers, peppers and more peppers. I got lucky though, my MIL works with someone who had too many peaches. We traded. My eggplants usually do really well, but this year they are small and tough. Baba Ganoush it is!

i'm surprised the tomatoes are still setting. maybe i'll try some netting next year.

I like container gardening, makes weeds easier to control but I can't miss a day of watering.
