Beef ribs with brown sugar and soy sauce as the marinade. Can't remember the kind of rib, but when I do, I'll edit my post.
Asparagus with rice. The rice has a kind of coconut milk flavor; I think that's what he cooked it in.
Cucumber salad with red onion, sour cream, mayo, and chopped mint.
For dessert, peaches and vanilla ice cream with shortbread cookies.

(1,704 posts)Very easy slow cooker recipe, which I typically don't like but this was good. The recipe calls for boneless skinless chicken thighs but all I had was bone-in, which worked just fine.

We definitely start at Cher's for the salads, I know.

Basically, bake a jalapeno cheese grits layer in a 9X13 dish, then spread a mixture of eggs, garlic, sausage, bacon, onion, mushrooms and more jalapeno over that. Then back into the oven.
