No, it isn't too early.
I had perhaps the most tasty dinner all summer.
There's a hot dog joint that's been in existence for 80 years in Paterson, NJ and it's closing in three days. (They had to. They didn't pay municipal taxes for a decade.)
I ordered a traditional "last meal": extra large hot dog with mustard, sauerkraut, and "the sauce" and French fries (sorry, "Freedom fries" ). Extra sauce for the fries.
Drove home 15 minutes. The food was still very warm; the fries were still warm and crunchy (vs. soggy). Washed it down with an icy cold beer.
If I were a cat right now, I'd be purring.

Even though the signs don't show it, the article says it's part of the Texas Wiener chain. We have one around here and I wonder if I could get the kind of frank they describe in the article.
