a leftover bowl of pasta, but rapidly said, "Nope, nope, nopity nope."

I thought back to my business trips to California. I recall a buffet of big, beautiful bowls of fresh fruit, all kinds of yogurt, pecans, walnuts, dates, and whatever kind of herb tea you could dream up.

In California the people are so nice that it can send a New Jerseyan into shock, just getting served coffee. Not that New Jerseyans are mean. It's just different.

Going on these memories, I made up a big bowl of fruit. First I tore up a half a donut. Then I put blueberry yogurt and blueberry kefir over it. Added the fruit, which was bananas, mangos, and a little pineapple. Topped it with pecans and agave. Cold decaf tea.
