7. It's clean out the fridge day. Looks like sweet 'n sour cabbage & rice soup, spicy turkey meatballs.

Diced mango & strawberry on the side.

Salmon/egg salad on pumpernickel. Chips.

Watercress soup, maybe, if I have enough energy.

Getting my raised beds in shape for putting in my garden in mid-May, so not a lot of time here. End of semester responsibilities, too.

I have never seen it in the stores here, but there are alot of things I don't see in the stores here .

I will grow it this year, but I don't have all my crops in yet.

It was beautiful watercress, too; fresh as could be and it was only 99 cents a bunch!

I'll have to go out and pick my own from the local streams. Now that it is above freezing, there should be some to find.

going to a local burrito place for dinner then the local theater to see the new miyazaki film

from a student presentation the other day. He showed clips of his work in his speech.

11. I was going to make lamb stir-fry with spicy noodles

but I was out of noodles, so I made lamb tacos instead.

14. We had fried eggplant slices with a yogurt-tahini sauce, bulgur wheat with caramelized

onions and tzatziki .
