take a heavy deep disposable aluminum pan, I actually use two one inside the other for added thickness, put your veggi's in that heat up beef broth till boiling pour over veggis with some fresh ground black pepper and what ever other seasoning and put on grill with potroast directly over the coals, use what ever wood type wood chips you like, cover the grill (i use a Webber) and let it go, if the meat is done before the veggi's simply place it on top of them in the pan
it's really good the veggi's and gravy have a nice lightly smoked flavor -yummy

For tri-tip we sear the fat side directly over the coals, then turn, sear, move to the side and cover. Baste occasionally, but basically let it grill / smoke slow as is.

I think I'll also oven "fry" some zucchini with Parm crust since I don't eat the potatoes and I need my share of the cheese...

tuna, noodles, cream of mushroom soup, and can of peas (splash of white wine to neutralized canned taste, haha)

It's the go to hot meal when you are totally exhausted from work and the thought of going to the supermarket is even out of the question.

We're all making do and thankful for power to cook with. Since Monday am we've had about 18 in. of snow which we badly need but it doesn't seem to know when to stop. Poor Rockies have to postpone again. After 8 hours of 20 degree snowball yesterday they finally decided they don't want to be the boys of winter. Sure is pretty to look at if you're having soup inside.
