You like cake? Remember Funny Bones? THIS is the cake for you (and it's easy!)

This is our daughter's favorite birthday cake...and today was the day (as some of you saw from my Lounge post).

The recipe is here http://everybodylikessandwiches.com/2011/05/happy-birthday-cake-to-me-black-magic-cake-with-vanilla-bean-buttercream/

and for the two frostings are here - http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2008/08/chocolate-peanut-butter-cake/

and this is what it looked like

If you like the combo of peanut butter and dark chocolate, this cake is beyond belief!

It was incredible, had candles and shit and I got presents, too!

We weren't even lower middle class, we were subsistence farmer without just one female wage earner poor, living in a loaner house on loaner land.

The cake was hecka cool, but not as tasty as home made, but pretty neat.

I think there may be a picture.

Oh, wait...yours seems to be stainless, and mine is white. I have never actually seen anyone use that hangy down bottle holder before, though.

That cake looks delicious, I may make it for my upcoming birthday. I bet it would go good with my favorite birthday dinner...pinto beans, cornbread, and green salad.

Now retired, was a food scientist for Drakes Cakes in the 60's. Told him he was responsible for at least some of my hips.

Recently I made a chocolate birthday cake and iced just the top layer; then right before serving I spread vanilla ice cream between the two layers.
