Chico and Rita

An epic plot that spans 50 years is used as a foil for presenting some great AfroCuban jazz.

I you like Rhumba, Bolero, Mambo, and even some brief full frontal nudity, watch Chico and Rita, which you can get streaming. The movie was an Oscar nominee. The animation is rich and delicious. The story is not surprising, but neither is it weak. This movie is about the visuals and the music.

It is in Spanish with English subtitles. That would normally bother me, but not this time as the dialogue was brief and uncomplicated.

I can't recommend this enough. Two Seltzer bottles up!
