US animal activist laws 'may impact globally'

Animal rights activists in the US have told the BBC that so-called "ag-gag" laws could be copied in other countries including the UK.

The laws are designed to limit undercover investigations on factory farms by campaigning groups.

Around a dozen states have passed or are proposing legislation banning these activities.

Supporters say they are designed to protect the privacy of farmers and agriculture businesses.

I suspect that even if they were forced to see what happened lots of Americans would still eat the stuff.. unhealthy as it is, easy and tasty as the alternatives are.
I know some people who need to be shown because it would stop their denial and probably change their life.
But I know a lot more who could watch it for hours and still support it, because of their species' Dominion over all the rest of life. Or because of their fat gluttonous unhealthy asses.

Sick as the violence there is, the biggest impact meat farming has is on the environment, and that's an even sicker kind of selfish.
