Union member's daughter was the second victim killed in Boston
From E-mail.
It pains me to tell you that the second named victim of the Boston bombing was Krystle Campbell, the daughter of one of our UNITE HERE 26 food service members that worked at Harvard Business School. We are working with the family to make sure they have everything we can possibly give them at such a difficult time and ensure they are taken care of. We've just posted a photo of Krystle on the Local 26 page and a short statement from us as well. We'll have a release probably tomorrow, but I wanted to get this all to you as soon as possible.
Personally, it's really at times like these that I'm proud we are one union family, and we're all here for those who need us most - victims AND first responders.

Short quick statement:
Krystle Campbell, the daughter of Boston UNITE HERE Local 26 's member Patty Campbell, was taken from us yesterday at the finish line of the Boston marathon. She attended the Boston Marathon every year since she was a little girl. She had a heart of gold, her mother Patty said. She was always smiling. You couldnt ask for a better daughter." As a UNITE HERE family we stand in grief and solidarity with Patty, her loved ones and all the victims of yesterdays explosions.
