For all those in Boston today… ( NH Labor News News and Information From A Labor Perspective)

By Liz Iacobucci | April 15, 2013

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those killed and injured in Boston today, and with their families.

Also, our special thanks go out to our brothers and sisters in the Boston Police Department, Boston Fire and Boston EMS, as well as other first responders.

It takes a special kind of dedication to run toward a bomb blast, rather than away from it.

We appreciate your service.

I just fear another trumped up call to war justified by this devastating attack. That's not the answer and it does nothing to prevent another attack. Please no jingoism.

But I am 100% behind any tribute to first responders and good samaritans on the scene. My son is in school in Boston, training to be an EMT. He wasn't there and he's fine. Thank heaven! My heart aches for those who were injured and killed.
