Bolivia Will Recover 300 Per Cent nvestment In Dakar Motor Rally
LA PAZ, April 16 (BERNAMA-NNN-Prensa Latina) -- Bolivia will recover back 300 percent of the preparation expenses of the Dakar motor rally competition and will use those profits in the improvement of social works, said the Tourism Ministry.
Vice Minister Marko Machicao said the amount will be used to cover basic needs of population, as drinkable water supply, electric energy and telephone and internet service.
The Bolivian government declared as national priority to hold the Dakar Rally which will be run in the country for the first time in the middle of 2014.
It also allocated, through a decree, more than US$2.6 million to arrange the cities where the competition will be held.
