José Luis Ponce RIP

This has been big news on twitter for days. In Limonera, on the day they were attacking the medical centers, 45 year old carpenter Jose Luis Ponce went to defend it and was shot by Capriles supporters.

His wake is taking place now. President Maduro is attending.

Being broadcast live on TeleSur http://www.telesurtv.net/el-canal/senal-en-vivo

orphaned by opposition violence in La Limonera.

"No to violence." Very good move because the citizens of Limonera wanted revenge for this despicable crime. It's important to calm this down. The reaction of La Limonera crowds to President Maduro were very warm and spontaneous with chants and slogans and high morale.

I can see why Chavez trusted and loved Maduro so much.

I do so hope he lowers the crime rate in Venezuela. Maybe he'll start by privatizing the police.

Officials said one death involved a man in the capital's Baruta district supposedly shot by opposition supporters in front of a Cuban-run health clinic when he and others where chanting pro-Maduro slogans. The AP visited the scene and could not establish in interviews with neighbors whether the killing was politically motivated.

It did determine, however, that 45-year-old Jose Luis Ponce, a carpenter, was not killed near the clinic. The government later corrected its version to reflect that.

I wonder if he assaulted someone earlier that night, Catherina? Not that that would justify his murder, of course.

I'm sure some little toad will come along to deny all this with their usual brazen and malicious mendacity. Shame on them. Totally lacking in any conscience like their mendacious hero Henry Capriles Radonsky.

La Limonera is a social housing complex in Baruta that houses over 1000 families, another municipality of Caracas, where a lot of spoiled rich shits live. Capriles was its mayor from 2000-2008 before he became its Governor.

When the Capriles supporters showed up and were acting violently, the residents called the police. They called the police at 6AM.

The police didn't show up until 6PM that evening.

However, Baruta police ignored the neighbors calls. It was not until the evening when they came to see what was happening in the housing complex that is home to 1,016 families, and by that the time was it was stalked by caprilistas mob encouraged by the Capriles' call to ignore the election results and get out in the streets.

"They never showed up and we spent all day in that trouble. Later in the night we received information that they were burning all the Integral Diagnostic Centers (CDI) all over and we learned that they were also attacking the Blue Stone right here in Baruta went down to see, to be aware, " he continued telling Perez.

He said that with the possible attack, residents of The Lemon went to the CDI with the intention to protect it from the opposition's mob.

"Finally, Polibaruta (Baruta Police) passed by and we told them we were there in peace, in fact none of us were armed. They left and opposition immediately came and started shooting at us," said Perez.

Jose Luis Ponce, a carpenter, died immediately of multiple gunshot wounds and Rosiris Reyes,a hairdresser and single mother of two children was injured and later died in the morning hours of Wednesday at the Domingo Luciani Hospital of The Llanito.

Now I understand why the residents were telling President Maduro that they want help from the National Police, not the Baruta Police. They told him the Baruta had abandoned them to their fate and they wanted this investigated. Maduro sent in the People's Guards, "la Guardia del Pueblo, to beef up security and help protect the housing project.

If memory serves me correctly, this is the police force Capriles had the FBI come in to train. Nope, my mistake. It's the Chacao police he had trained with "funding from the U.S. embassy for that mission".

During his tenure as mayor of the municipality of Chacao, Capriles signed several agreements with the U.S. FBI to train its municipal police, and received funding from the U.S. embassy for that mission.

And yeah, I HATE SPOILED RICH SHITS for what they've done to this world in their greed. Everything for the rich and austerity for the poor.

If you love them and their little programs, that's your problem. I don't side with the 1%.

Not all children of the 1% are rotten. This I know firsthand. The same goes for the Upper middle class.

Not all rotten little shits are children of the 1% or the upper middle class either.

I've lived many years of my life in these countries, right alongside the poor and right alongside the 1%.

When I say rich little shits, I'm talking about a bunch of people with no conscience who'll be sitting on the 3rd floor balcony and ring their little bell for the maid to run up and go get them a glass of water that's no more than 5 feet away from them.

And I'm talking about all the middle class shits who aim to imitate them.

You owe yourself a trip to Latin America to see this behavior in action, the behavior of kids born with a silver spoon in their mouth who think the poor owe them a living and disparage them every chance they get.

it makes more sense now. As for Latin America, I go to Panama quite often and am in active preparations to move there. I agree with you 100% of the rich little shits you are talking about.

I guess what I object to is your apparent assumption that any young person who voted for Capriles must be a "little rich shit" or a middle class person that wants to emulate them.

The assholes should have NEVER gone one step into that area as a group, as a gang, as a political mob. Filthy scum.

Burning the very places these people desperately need to maintain, sustain their lives. Nothing less than pure evil. Hope every bit of their murderous, hate-driven bullying will revisit them with a vengeance in their own lives, as fate dictates. They have created some very bad karma for themselves, these pointless, idle fools.

Too bad there isn't a good entity with far more power to be able to keep the US Gov't clean in its dealings with Venezuela. Power has corrupted beyond redemption the people running the show for US foreign policy. What a nightmare. They are sponsoring monsters, as usual.

Thank you for your amazing skills in locating this essential information. You have managed to do the work of multiple people regarding this horrendous situation.
