they were discussing the tear gas and people covering their faces in the beginning so I assumed it was something like that.

But yeah, they were attacked with tear gas and rubber bullets.
Damn fascist oligarchs.
I just think it's charming how the living quarters of these people aren't exactly rich or even well to do.
Many chavistas in new chavista housing live better than opposition supporters.
