How could a fascist have gotten so much of the vote?

Anyway it's better that Capriles loses. The country is going to go to hell in the next six months no matter what. Better to let Maduro take the blame.

"Better to let Madruro take the blame."

Capriles is fighting fucking hard to get an audit done and is rejecting the bullshit irregularities that opposition witnesses ... witnessed.

From Capriles' POV he wants to fight for Venezuela, so, to "let Maduro take the blame" is kind of, to me, weasely. No offense to you. If Capriles wants to fight, if he thinks the audit will turn the election around, then I think he should continue fighting and "take the blame" if he's right about it.

Capriles shouldn't let Maduro "take the blame" if he won.

Unfortunately, Venezuelans will have to suffer but from a political perspective, Capriles is probably better off. I assume he'll have one more chance the next time. If Capriles can't win the next one he's done, but considering Chavez will be a distant memory by then, I would think he has a good chance against the bumbling lying Maduro.

Maduro will have to run on his own record and not as the son of Chavez. Existing conditions in the country don't bode well for the bus driver.
