Note the only benefit chavistas can attribute to Chavez's corrupt reign is the level of poverty. As the video shows the reductions of poverty in neighboring countries have been more substantial yet we don't see the same level of adoration. And the neighboring countries, not even Colombia, have the same dire problems with violence, corruption, shortages, inflation, no justice system, lying inept leadership etc. ad nauseum.

Populists disguised as neoliberals. Where's the return to import substitution? Where's the fixed exchange rate? The dual exchange rate allows exports to flow like a neoliberal wet dream. Why are Venezuelans being forced to buy gasoline from the United States? Why is imperialist United States their biggest business partner? Why is gas subsidized to the point where an entire tank is under a few bucks when 85% of Venezuelans don't have a car? What about the Aben Perl? The Fonden Fund?

It's all neoliberal graft stealing from the taxpayers under the guise of the rebolution....
