Maduro claims US was behind attack against Venezuelan opposition students

Some opposition students were attacked by government sympathizers for peacefully protesting in an area where they had all the right to be (before anyone else says "they should've stayed out of that area, it's probably controlled by chavistas, they had it coming", this happened within the municipality of Chacao, which is an opposition bastion). And Maduro, since obviously in his mind nobody who supports the government has violent tendencies, will not admit that the group behind the attack are chavistas, and instead resorts to what a crazy conspiracy theorist would come up with, which is that an infiltrated group backed by the US government is behind the plot. Maduro just keeps spewing more and more insanity with each passing day. Honestly, if the US truly was plotting against him or his regime, they would've assassinated him LONG ago.
