Dumb Criminals: London Gang Members Post Facebook Pictures Of Themselves Eating Cash Sandwiches

A gang which stole a fleet of luxury, high-performance cars after breaking into the homes of some of London’s wealthiest residents was caught out after posting pictures on Facebook.

The eight men stole at least 27 cars, which included BMWs, Range Rovers, Porsches and a £100,000 Mercedes, as well as jewellery, phones and laptops in a five month spree of burglaries.

Today the gang were starting jail sentences totalling 32 years after a court heard all but one of the gang had admitted a total of 41 break-ins.

The group cruised the streets of west London looking for expensive cars to steal and then returned at night to force their way into multi-million homes in Notting Hill, Kensington and Ladbroke Grove.

Victims included wealthy bankers and lawyers and many were asleep with their families upstairs as the gang ransacked their homes for car keys, cash, phones, jewellery, watches and iPads.
