British Bus Driver Mistakes Town's Spelling, Drives 80 Miles In Wrong Direction

Pupils returning from a school trip were transported to a seaside resort 80 miles from their home - after a coach driver mistook Tywyn for Towyn.

The children thought they were reaching the end of a gruelling 13-hour return trip from a trip to Paris.

But the group were shocked to discover they were actually in the similarly-pronounced town of Towyn, near Rhyl - miles from their actual hometown of Tywyn, overlooking Cardigan Bay on Wales' west coast.

Embarrassed coach bosses said the driver had inputted the wrong place into his sat-nav.

Tywyn, Towyn, I can see how those would get mixed up.
