A note about participation in this group. PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

This discussion thread is pinned and locked. It is closed to new replies.

Tx4Obama hasn't been posting on DU for a while so this group hasn't been managed. As a result there have been several OPs continuing the primary discussions here that better belong in GD-P.

This group is for supporting the Democratic Party, the DNC, state and local Democratic Parties and organizations and all Democrats. If your post is negative about the Democratic Party, a Democrat or supports one over another, it doesn't belong in this group.

Thanks.

1. A question

If one feels that the DNC and its leader DWS is causing harm to the Democrratic Party and all Democrats would this not be the group to post in. All to often I see groups on this site hold the view that pointing out areas where improvement is nessary is not offering support. If I have a friend who is not aware that what they are doing may cause them selfs harm talking with that person about the issue is the best support one can do instead of staying silent.

7. My first inclination would be to say no. However...

if you can find a way to say that without attacking DWS or other Democrats, have at it.

A suggestion might be:

I would like to see a head of the DNC do X,y,z, rather than so and so is doing a,b,c wrong.

No attacking Bernie Sanders in this group. Any OPs doing so will be locked and repeated violators banned.

14. For the record, it was not my intention to step in.

The only reason I did was that there were three SOP alerts on an OP here that were not being addressed. I finally decided to check what was going on and realized the situation with the group host above me.

meet their high standards of what can be said about sanders?

That kind of "quashing of dissent"?

You all don't like Dems anyway right.. want to destroy the parry? So this being a group for Dems shouldn't bother you.

I just subscribed to this group after reading your post, which I thought was well-written and clear.

I am sick and tired of mealymouthed Democrats clobbering me over the head day after day for being a Democrat. I look forward to participating in a group where people aren't pissing on my boots and trying to tell me it's raining. Repeating the same anti-Democrat bumper sticker slogans over and over isn't salutary.

9. You're welcome. It isn't as if folks don't have plenty of places to do that.

In GD you can criticize any Democrat you want to as long as it isn't part of the primary debate.

In the Bernie Sanders group you can criticize everyone except Bernie. In GD-P again you can beat up on Demcrats as much as you want to it seems.

This group is not for that. The original SOP makes that clear.

Which ones next there Stevy? Gotta make these boards safe for Hillary, the party clique, and the followers that don't question our great leader DWS, right?

Ban me, I give 0 fucks.

"Annexation," pfeh.

If your "revolution" is real you will evolve. I doubt it though.

It is nice to be able to go somewhere on this forum site and say you are a democrat that is not an far left democrat. Lately saying you are not far left is a democratic slap in the face.
