Odd forum problem

One of the other forums i frequent just gave me a warning for posting spam and i was told i'd be banned for life if i continued..
I've been with this particular forum for many years and never had a problem or ever posted any spam.
How can a mod accuse me of posting spam when i never posted any spam, its as if he's seeing something being posted in my name but not coming from me..
is this possible or do we just have an overzealous mod looking for a bogus excuse to get rid of a Liberal.

This probably belongs in Ask the Admin. RC Apr 2013 #1
I know some forums seem to have special rules that pertain only to that forum. pennylane100 Apr 2013 #2

I got banned for life from a forum when I broke a rule that I did not know about and then did not comply with the fifteen minute time frame to remove my post. That was another thing I did not know about at the time as I had logged off. I checked the rules that had earned me a lifetime in exile and sure enough, I had committed a capital error.

I generally post most of my comments in General Discussion and usually start reading the latest threads so it is really not a big deal for me but I do not post articles or topics of interest to that particular group any more, although I do absolutely support the cause. However if that is a forum you enjoy posting on, you should contact the moderator to ask for an explanation or possible some one in the administration.

Yes i did contact the mod but he insists i was posting spam when in reality i only posted a responding benign comment to the op, thus the question could he be seeing spam being posted and mistakenly think its me doing the posting?
I did send another message to admin but i
think i've logged out of that forum for the last time..

I forwarded a list of everything you've posted for the last 30 days.
If there's anything you don't recognize, then maybe your account has been hacked.

Hope this helps.
