New 'class groups', with 'calculator'

I tried it; it tells me, laughably, that I am 'traditional working class'. Out of the 7 categories, that is probably the least like me but one. Even the pattern of 'wedges' it shows for me, which is pretty simplistic, should make me 'technical middle class', just going by eye. Have I ever struck anyone here as 'traditional working class'?

So I'm inclined to go with the people who say this new classification is a load of bollocks.

which says I'm "a new affluent worker."

This class group is sociable, has lots of cultural interests and is in the middle of all the class groups in terms of wealth. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:

Are young
Come from a working class background
Own their own home

Tossers - I'm retired.

I'll PM you on the subject of working class.

You can't determine social class by what sort of music a person listens to, or whether or not somebody uses Facebook.

It's difficult to believe that people get paid for coming up with this sort of useless gibberish.

that the only real determining factor is income and savings. Someone could have saved themselves a lot of time (and money) by just opening up a history book.
