Washington cases reach 19,828; 1061 deaths

As more and more tests were made available and completed, the number of cases of COVID-19 in Washington steadily grew. The number of confirmed cases statewide as of Sunday climbed to 19,828 including 1,061 deaths according to the Washington State Department of Health.

As of Sunday, there were 7,819 cases in King County according to King County Public Health's dashboard. That included 540 deaths.

The outbreak had reached 38 of Washington's counties this week, the majority of which were still in King, Snohomish, Yakima and Pierce counties. Skamania, Asotin, Wahkiakum, Pend Oreille and Pacific counties were the latest to report their first cases.

Washington’s public colleges and universities are preparing for large budget cuts because of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

...all of which, coincidentally, were cleared to move on to "Phase II" of re-opening last week.

Pacific and Wahkiakum have not had a new case for over 2 weeks as of last Fridays county data which agree with the DOH dashboard.

Looks like the papers data is stale.
