What if Virginia had a law that only Virginians could purchase guns in Virginia, all you needed was a picture ID AND your Virginia Voter-ID card as proof? Shouldn't you need as much ID to buy a gun as you need to vote?

You don't need both right now to vote, either of those will suffice because we have a registration record of voters.

Whatever rules the Red state legislature makes up to keep people from voting, should also be the requirement for buying guns.

I'm tired of Virginia being the place where criminals come to buy guns -- where people from out-of-state can make bulk purchases...

These bulk purchases are mostly about buying handguns. It is already illegal for a resident of a state outside of Viginia to purchase handguns in Virginia. The bulk purchases you refer to are being done by residents of Virginia.

If you are refering to private bulk sales of handguns in Virginia, those guns are first being purchased at gun shops where background checks are being conducted. There are some federally licensed gun dealers who are willing to make sales without background checks, but there are not a lot of them.
