It's raining in Corpus Christi!

This is the most rain we've seen in months. The Naval Air Station about 2 miles from our house recorded almost 2 inches of rain. There's another band of storms headed our way.

Sadly, there was less than an inch of rain in our watershed, which is centered in the Uvalde area. Damn, drought sucks.

and golf courses and washing the cars, but it doesn't solve the long term problem of consistent drought in Texas while the population increases. Even having a good rainy year is only a temporary fix.

I'm sorry it's so difficult.

I saw the storm clouds on the horizon when I left work yesterday, and maybe west Houston got some rain, but it never reached the Reliant stadium area. Just some sprinkles. It's not like we need it right now. But maybe we've got a trend going and can see some drought relief
