http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/10/rep-joe-barton-biblical-great-flood-shows-climate-change-isnt-man-made/Republican Texas Rep. Joe Barton on Wednesday dismissed concerns that the Keystone XL pipeline could contribute to climate change, citing the biblical flood myth described in the book of Genesis as evidence that climate change was not man made.
BuzzFeeds Andrew Kaczynski obtained video of Barton speaking to the House Subcommittee on Energy and Power in support of the Northern Route Approval Act, a bill that could allow Congress to override President Barack Obama if he refuses to approve the controversial Keystone XL pipeline extension.
I dont think its a secret that Im a proponent and supporter of the Keystone pipeline, Barton explained.

I would point out if youre a believer in the Bible, one would have to say the Great Flood is an example of climate change. And that certainly wasnt because mankind overdeveloped hydrocarbon energy.

(4,695 posts)because they have lost their ability to give enough. Fascist took that ability away. Fascist do all the giving. Fascist get all the receiving. Fascist are now taking over Congress. Christ threw all the money changers out of the church. Is a money changer a Fascist? Is Barton a Fascist and a money changer? Can a Fascist and a Money Changer go through the eye of a needle?
Even an atheist can answer these questions even if they do not believe that Christ is the Savior, only a man written about in history.

(24,551 posts)Is Joe "shake down" Barton even a man of faith? I got the impression all he cares about is oil, oil and more oil.
I call him "shake down" because of the BP hearings. He got the entire energy committee mad at him because he sided with BP. That was almost as embarrassing as Perry calling the spill an "act of God".
ARRGGGGHHH is right
